Blue Crane colour-ringing

From 1994-2008, more than 461 Blue Cranes have been fitted with SAFRING metal rings and unique colour-combinations, with the aim being to determine moment patterns, post-natal dispersal, mortality factors, etc., of these threatened birds. By mid-June 2008 there were 170 observations and recoveries of ringed blue cranes. The most important information that is required about ringed birds is: (a) colour-combination, (b) date and (c) locality

Please report observations of ringed Blue Cranes to Mark Anderson.
